Will Costa Rica Open Borders Up in July?

Will Costa Rica Open Borders Up in July?

Many people who are outside Costa Rica, specifically those in the U.S., have been anxious to schedule a visit but remain on edge due to multiple dates changes with airport closures and other travel restrictions.  While Costa Rica has already pushed back the date 3 times in which foreigners will be allowed to enter the country, many are speculating that the current date of July 1 will not be moved, and travelers will finally be allowed back.  This is encouraging news for a country that relies heavily on tourism and is desperate need of some tourism dollars, however, there still remains more questions as to what other travel restrictions might be enforced.  Will travelers face any sort of quarantine once they arrive?  Will they face any quarantine when returning to their home state or country?  Will the borders be opened up for everyone or limited to those coming from certain countries?  Travelers looking to make trips during this time just need to fully accept that they will need patience and flexibility with their plans. The good news is that it has been reported the airports have been preparing areas and protocols to safely handle international travelers, so it seems they are preparing to open things up soon.
