This is where Sarah Elena comes in. In 2015, she had a nagging feeling there was more to life than her 9 to 5 job, so she quit her job as a social worker and moved from Virginia to Costa Rica. She had her fair share of hurdles and challenges making the move on her own, and now is helping to share all her tips, experiences, and resources to those looking to make the move down here. Real advice and information
Sarah wants to make sure people have a realistic expectation of moving to Costa Rica. “I am not by any means going to paint a perfect picture of paradise. I want people to know REALLY what it is like living here, the pros and the cons! I have a strong belief in authenticity and “keepin’ it real.” says Sarah. Equally important is continuing to provide support and guidance once they are here.
“I do not believe in providing a service and then falling off the face of the earth when the move is done. I treat those I work with as I would a dear friend or family member, which means that even after your move, I will be here to offer continued support as you adjust.”
Sarah has a Youtube channel, Facebook community page, and ebook that all provide valuable tips for those looking to get started. But the greatest benefit is having someone on the ground here in Costa Rica that can hold your hand and walk you through the entire process ensuring a much smoother and painless transition to a new life in Costa Rica.
